Understanding the Palm Strike Meter

Before attempting the combo, you need to know how the palm strike meter works. Each time you land a punch, you fill the meter just a little bit. You will see a gauge or visual indicator on your screen that shows how close you are to a fully charged strike. Once this gauge is complete, you will be ready to unleash a much stronger attack.

Charging the Palm Strike

To charge your palm strike, you need to keep landing punches in quick succession. Position yourself at close range to your target, then deliver a series of rapid punches: you punch the guy, you punch him, you punch him. As you continue to hit, watch the gauge fill steadily. When the meter is nearly complete, prepare for the finishing move.

Executing the Combo

When the meter hits complete, press RB to let go of your fully charged palm strike. Pressing RB is essential. If you do it too early, you'll only get a regular punch. If you wait until the meter is complete, you'll get a decisive palm strike. In practice, you will punch, punch, punch until the gauge fills, and then you will hit RB again once it is fully charged to execute the combo.
